The cottages have donned the colors of the earth and blend seamlessly with the pristine natural setting. Their thatched roofs help in keeping the interiors cool. The resort shares a fence with the adjoining Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary. Special efforts have been taken to preserve the natural scrub vegetation and grasslands that attract birds.

The resort is open throughout the year. July to March is conducive for outdoors and also a good time for sighting wildlife. Sloth bears can be sighted all-year through. Even though the summer heat is oppressive, early mornings and late evenings are pleasant and tourist hotspots are less crowded. After the monsoons, the rock dominated landscape and plush fields sport vivid shades of green. November to February is the peak season.
